Behind the Scenes of the Lulus on Melrose Launch Party

Lulus on Melrose is officially open–and if that’s not a reason to celebrate, what is? So naturally, we kicked off the launch of our Los Angeles retail store with an epic party, featuring some of our favorite influencers, artists, music, cocktails, and, of course, our Winter/Holiday ’23 collections. It was an unforgettable night filled with lots of love, laughter, and Lulus shenanigans–and here’s a look behind the scenes of it all.

Our two-story space in the heart of LA’s fashion hub was, quite literally, sparkling. Against a backdrop of festive-season must-have styles, glimmering pillar candles adorned with chic black ribbon bows, pearl-embellished floral arrangements, and metallic silver mirror ball decor, a steady stream of guests mixed and mingled, and got a sneak peek at Melrose Avenue’s newest shopping destination.

The bar served up stylish sips including Cranberry Martinis, Apple Cider Spritzes, Elderflower Spritzes, and a signature Lulus on Melrose espresso cocktail, while DJ Sahar Habibi kept the vibe party perfect. In between checking out our holiday offerings and snapping selfies in the custom disco ball mirror by Lina Shamoon, partygoers were treated to watercolor portraits by artist Regina Yadzi, permanent bracelets by Stacked LA, and glam black and white shots in our MirMir photobooth.

There was no denying the festive feeling in the air: The halls were decked and so was the crowd–in sequins, jacquard, feathers, velvet, and rhinestones. You could say the whole place shimmered.

Lulus girlies including Fear the Walking Dead‘s Jayla Walton, influencers Cecily Bauchmann, Delaney Childs, Vanessa Chen, April Buckles, OG Lulus model Anna Herrin, and many more showed up to toast to Lulus–and everyone brought their fashion and party A-game.  A fun, memorable, and undeniably stylish time was definitely had by all.
