A dash of citrus always brings those warm-weather vibes, so whether you’re unwinding after a long week or throwing a summertime soiree, mixing up a mandarin cocktail with tequila just feels, well, right.

One sip of this orange tequila cocktail will put you in a tropical island state of mind. Aside from the obvious (tequila and mandarin orange), our cocktail also features blood orange San Pellegrino, ginger liqueur, and pineapple juices, making for an effervescent drink that feels like vacay in a glass.  Yes, please.

  • Mandarin Orange Cocktail

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 of a mandarin orange, peeled
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 1/2 oz Domaine De Canton or ginger liqueur
  • Splash of blood orange San Pellegrino
  • Splash of pineapple juices
  • Candied mandarin slices for garnish

Directions

Step 1:

Using a muddler, smash mandarin pieces until juices are released.

Step 2:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add smashed mandarin, tequila, and ginger liqueur.

Step 3:

Shake well and strain into a glass. Top off with a splash of blood orange San Pellegrino and pineapple juice.

Step 4:

Garnish with a candied mandarin slice and enjoy!
