This summer certainly looks different than ones in the past, but I’m still trying to enjoy many of the same summertime staple recipes that we’ve come to know and love! Cocktails like this Summer Citrus Sangria can still be enjoyed even if not in the company of a large gathering like in past summers. I’ve pared down this summer sangria recipe to make just two servings: perfect for a date night at home or a casual evening with your roommate.
If you have more than two people in your household, you can certainly double this recipe to make four drinks! And, if you just want sangria for one, you can just cut the recipe in half.
Speaking of recipe tweaks, you can change the fruit used here to suit your preference! I used citrus but you can use berries or anything else you have on hand. I hope you’re able to enjoy this Summer Citrus Sangria outside on your porch or backyard patio–it’s definitely the perfect warm-weather drink!
