Summer is in full swing and so is the heat and humidity! (That’s the one thing about summer I could live without.) Never fear though: I have the most refreshing recipe for wine slushie deliciousness to help you cope. This yummy cocktail only requires two ingredients (well, three–if you count ice cubes, which I don’t!) and it doesn’t require anything that will heat up your house. Get psyched y’all: We’re making Moscato Slushies! Blackberry Moscato Slushies, to be precise.
This recipe for wine slushies requires you to just blend up some ice, Moscato, and frozen blackberries! I like a sweeter variety of Moscato, like the Peach Moscato from Trader Joe’s, but you can choose whatever kind you prefer. That’s it, though! This idea sounds so simple but that’s part of the brilliance of the recipe. You’ll wonder where these delightfully boozy slushies have been all your adult life!
Of course, you can sub in whatever fruit you have on hand. I’ve made these with all sorts of frozen fruits, so feel free to play mix and match! Use up that frozen fruit in the back of your freezer that’s begging to be given a new life! Most importantly, sit outside (if it’s not 99 degrees with 99% humidity) and sip this leisurely, preferably with a good book in hand. Happy Summer, friends! Check out the full recipe ahead!

- PREP TIME: 5 MINS
- SERVES: 3
- recipe for wine slushies with blackberries and moscato
Ingredients
- 1 cup + 2 Tbsp Moscato wine (I used a Peach variety from Trader Joe’s!)
- 7 ice cubes
- 2 cups frozen blackberries
- Mint leaves for garnish
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until everything is well-combined. Enjoy your Moscato slushies immediately! Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
Note: If you want to save some for later, pour any leftovers into a freezer-safe bag or container, and freeze. When you want to dig into that freezer stash, run an ice cream scoop under hot water, and scoop some out to enjoy like sherbert! You can, of course, double this recipe to make six Moscato slushies, if desired!
