As we all try to settle in to our new normal, you may find yourself asking at least a couple of questions. How long will I be staying home? Will my pets ever get used to this? What is considered a normal amount of time spent in front of the refrigerator? Is it too early to pour a cocktail? While we don’t have all the answers for you (shhhh-it’s never too early!), we have spent some time thinking about easy and chic work from home outfits.

While a more structured outfit might have been your go-to at the office, you’ve probably updated your previous uniform. What kind of changes you make to your everyday workwear will depend on your personal preferences and needs! Are you feeling more like a lounge queen and reaching for the softest coordinated set? Or are you a business-as-usual type who needs a blazer to keep your self in the zone? Or maybe your go-to denim is feeling just a little tight since quarantine (don’t worry, us too). Whatever your WFH style is, we have you covered with super chic and easy outfits you can wear right now.

1. Zoom, But Make It Comfy

Sometimes, you just need to dress the part to get in the work state of mind. If you’re usually the blazer-type, a soft option over your fave printed tee has a polished and pulled together look. Achieving a little sense of normal can help you stay focused on your to-do list and totally crush your work day. In this WFH version, we love adding bike shorts and the perfect sneaker for a modern and comfy spin. Size up on the blazer and t-shirt for a relaxed vibe!  Just think- you’ll be totally ready for a Zoom session with clients but comfortable enough to take the meeting from the couch (it’s OK, we won’t tell).

2. Soft Layers

Joggers, cardi, soft tee, and sneakers- behold the recipe for the ultimate WFH outfit. This combo of soft layers can easily take you from emails to a walk with your pup, and any other tasks you have throughout the day. It looks cool and on trend but there’s an elastic waistband, and if you haven’t already gotten the memo, we are fully on board for everything stretchy right now. A touch of bling can elevate any outfit so don’t forget to reach for your favorite gold necklace to complete the look.

3. One & Done

Outfit fatigue? It can happen while you WFH, too. A romper or jumpsuit is still our favorite answer to the age old question, “What should I wear?” The beauty is you only have to picket one thing and your outfit is ready to go. That kind of simplicity will come in handy, especially right now. There are so many options to chose from but we are currently in love with crisp spring colors and wide leg options that we can wear now and later, like at the beach!

Are we wearing jeans yet? Asking for a friend. It might be time to pull out some stretchy, high waisted denim just to grasp at that sense of normalcy we talked about! It’s still a little chilly, especially in the morning, so some days we are still in sweater mode. Also, who doesn’t love cozying up in their favorite knit for a little creature comfort?

5. Instant Mood Boost

Need a pick-me-up? A little color can go a long way! The tie-dye trend is still going strong as we head into warmer weather, and we are holding on tight to it’s cheerful aesthetic.  Since we are opting for easier choices, a soft dress in a happy-go-lucky peach print is a no-brainer. The warmth of a sweatshirt dress is an added bonus and will be perfect for cooler spring and summer nights ahead!

6. Virtual Happy Hour

By the end of the week (or the end of day, let’s be honest) you’re probably feeling ready for that drink. While we all not-so-patiently wait for the time when we can enjoy a cocktail with our friends in person, at least we can virtually raise a glass and join a digital happy hour. We all have the friend who loves to screen shot the party so why not dress for the occasion and show your girl gang you are so ready for a night out when the time is right. A soft jersey dress is the perfect option you can wear throughout the day or slip on right before you join happy hour at home. Don’t worry, the cozy sweater is still totally appropriate.
