It wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without a fun cocktail to celebrate–and we all know that Bailey’s is the way to go, naturally. Irish Cream is such a versatile drink: You can serve it chilled, on the rocks, add it to hot coffee (or even hot cocoa!), or even mix it into desserts. Great, now I’m craving dessert–but that’s fine because this Bailey’s White Russian could almost masquerade as a dessert. Oh, and it’s crazy simple to make at home!
Dip the rims of your glasses into some chocolate syrup and then into some espresso powder for a fancy vibe. Pour a bit of chocolate syrup into the bottom of each glass (see? dessert!) and you’re well on your way to having this fantastic St. Paddy’s Day drink. Lastly, shake up some espresso, Irish Cream, and vodka with ice, then divide it among the glasses.
Drinks are served! Feel free to cut down or double up the recipe to make fewer or more drinks, as needed. Happy St. Patrick’s Day and Sláinte! (That means “health” in Gaelic, the traditional language of Ireland and Scotland!) See? You got a drink and learned something here today! *Lucky you.*
