S’mores Parfaits
Prep time: 30 minutes
Yield: 3 large or 6 small parfait cups
Ingredients:
- 1 box of your favorite instant chocolate pudding
- Milk, in the amount called for on the pudding box
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 3 Tbsp salted butter, melted
- 1 jar marshmallow cream (7 ounces)
- Hershey’s bar pieces, for topping
- 2-3 marshmallows per jar, for topping
- 2 whole graham crackers, for topping
Instructions:
Prep: Make the chocolate pudding according to package directions, and allow to chill.
Make the parfaits: Stir together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl. Spoon 3-4 tablespoons of crust mixture into the bottom of each cup, pressing it down a bit with the back end of a spoon. Add the pudding to a Ziploc bag with the tip snipped off, and pipe a generous layer on top of the crust. Do the same with the marshmallow cream, and pipe a thinner layer on top of the pudding.
Serve and store: At this point, you can store in the fridge for 24 hours before serving. Or, serve right away. For serving, toast marshmallows under your oven’s broiler on a sheet pan (they only need 1-3 minutes, watch them closely!) or use a kitchen torch. Place a few toasted mallows on top of each s’more parfait, then add a hershey’s bar piece and a graham cracker piece. Sprinkle on some crushed graham cracker crumbs too. Enjoy! Store leftovers
