Scroll on for the complete instructions for these looks!
1. Low Ballet Bun

Similar to the classic slicked-back ballet bun, this curly girl version sits low at the nape of the neck, and is adorned with a romantic satin bow!
You will need:
- 1 hair tie
- 1 large hair bow
Instructions:
- Using a brush and water as necessary, part your hair down the center and smooth, then pull it into a low bun, securing it with the hair tie. Adjust as needed to achieve desired fullness.
- Affix the hair bow clip right above the bun, against the back of your head. Et voila! A perfect low ballet bun.
2. Half-Up Half-Down Hair with a Bow

Perfect for keeping your hair out of your face while still allowing your curls to shine in their natural state, this look is a great everyday ballet hairstyle.
You will need:
- 1 hair tie
- 1 large hair bow
Instructions:
- Part the front of your hair in the center of your head. The part should go back about 2-3 inches.
- Starting with a small section at the very front of your head at the center part, French braid a section of hair on each side of your head. Braid until you can connect the two braids behind your head, leaving some hair loose.
- Secure the braids behind your head using the hair tie to pull the remaining hair into a half-ponytail.
- Clip your hair bow over the hair tie, and you’re done!
3. Looped Braids

These adorable looped braids look like elongated mini buns, and are super easy to do in a hurry! Chic and minimalistic, looped braids are also a nice option if your curls aren’t cooperating.
You will need:
- 2 hair ties
- Brush (for smoothing and detangling as necessary)
Instructions:
- Part your hair in the center, going all the way down your head to the nape of your neck.
- Using a brush, slick your hair down into two ponytails. Pull each side into low braids, braiding all the way to the end of your hair.
- Flip the bottom of each braid up, folding the braid in half. Wrap the hair tie around the base of each braid, catching the end to secure the fold and create your looped braids.
