The triumphant return of the scrunchie has had surprising longevity–and the throwback trend isn’t going anywhere yet. Whether you wore them as a kid or this is your first go-round with these retro hair accessories, scrunchies add a pretty, playful touch to your look in seconds. And with elevated options like organza, lace, leopard prints, and more available, achieving chic, grown-up hairstyles with scrunchies is easier than ever.
Scrunchies also score pretty damn high when it comes to functionality: Thanks to the fabric covering, they’re less likely to snag and damage your strands. Plus, when you’re not wearing one in your hair, it makes a fun, fashionable wrist accessory. Versatility win! Whether you’re headed to brunch, a daytime party, or a dinner date, here’s how to wear a scrunchie from day to night.
