A satin scarf adds instant oomph to any look, whether you wear it in your hair, on your handbag, around your neck, or wrist. These days, when most people are seeing us from the chest up (ahem, Zoom), wearing a low ponytail with scarf tied around isn’t just pretty–it’s practical.
Not to mention, this timeless hairstyle is super simple to achieve all by yourself. No matter what you’re wearing, be it a sparkly holiday dress or cozy loungewear, a scarf in your pony looks intentional and elegant with minimal effort. To see just how easy we’re talking, scroll on!
Low Ponytail with Scarf
Step 1: Pull the hair into a low ponytail.
Step 2: Fold the scarf in half like a triangle.
Step 3: Feed the ponytail through the elastic from the underside until about half of the scarf is on each side.
Step 4: Tie into a simple knot on top of the ponytail.
Step 5: If you have short hair, crisscross the ends under the ponytail and repeat.
Step 6: Pull on the ponytail and add product for hold as needed.
