Headbands have been experiencing a serious revival for a few seasons now: We’ve seen everyone from celebrities to royals rocking the must-have hair accessory and the trend isn’t going away anytime soon. Knotted, padded, rhinestone, and pearl versions abound, ready to upgrade your strands in seconds. Needless to say, this is a throwback look worth trying out–and if you’ve ever wondered just how to wear a headband and look sophisticated at the same time, you’ll want to keep scrolling.

The great thing about the headband hairstyles ahead, aside from being modern and stylish, is that one easily transitions into the next. Of course, each is a look in its own right, but if you’re in the mood for a quick change-up, you’ve got options. Here are three chic simple ways to add some intention to your hair–without a ton of effort.
