Instructions:
- Starting with hydrated skin, apply your favorite glowy primer all over your face, then apply a medium coverage foundation, spot concealer (if needed), and concealer for highlight.
- Using a creamy, chocolate kohl eye pencil, tightline the eyes, then draw all over the lids. Using a fluffy brush, diffuse the kohl eyeliner on the eyelids up to the brow bone.
- Using an orange cream eye shadow (a cream bronzer or blush works too), apply a small amount over the top of the brown kohl base, and then in the same circular motions, blend all the way up to the brow bone—concentrate the color on the lids and blend it out really well as you go upwards. Also, start with a light hand, you can always layer on more shadow if you want more intensity.
- Taking the brown kohl liner again, create a small wing on top, and make a small line along your bottom lash line (you don’t need to be too precise), then give it all a gentle smudge with your brush or finger, so that it’s giving you definition, but it’s not a harsh line. You want to create a smoky effect.
- On a small brush, take your cream shadow and swipe it along your bottom lash line; this will further diffuse the brown liner.
- Using a warm, cream highlighter on your ring finger, dab the highlighter directly in the center of your lid, and if needed, blend it out so that it becomes more diffused. With a small detail brush, use that same highlighter on the inner corner of your eyes. Add a couple layers of mascara, and then brush and fill in your brows.
- Contour as usual, and then taking that same cream eyeshadow from earlier, dot it onto the cheeks, and blend it out in a C-motion. Start off with a light hand, and then build the intensity, if desired.
- With loose powder on a tapered brush, set your under-eye concealer, and under your cheek contour, swiping upward to lift the face.
- Using a warm-toned powder highlighter, highlight the high points of your face.
- For the lips, start with a brown liner and line the top and bottom, overdrawing just slightly. You can fill your lips in with your liner as well or take a matching brown lipstick and swipe it all over. Then, taking your cream shadow, dab a bit onto the back of your hand and then using your ring finger, dab and blend it into your lipstick. You can leave your lips more mattified or top it with a clear gloss for some extra dimension.
- Lastly, using a mineralized setting powder on a fluffy brush, swirl it all around your face to set and tone down any areas that may be too intense. Follow up your powder with a generous amount of setting spray, and you’re all done.
