Love is officially in the air this fall. Lulus’ latest bridal drop has arrived, and it’s as romantic as it gets. Shot on location in Paris with a real-life couple, the campaign captures the dreamy magic of our 2025 Fall Bridal collection. Ahead, we spoke with Lulus’ Art Director of Campaigns, Marion Mondon, about the inspiration, the details behind the Paris shoot, and how you can bring the same elevated vibe to your own wedding photos.
Consider this your first look at our Paris Love Story—you’ll definitely want to say yes.
Lulus: First off, introduce yourself!
Marion Mondon: I’m the Art Director of Campaigns at Lulus. I work closely with our Creative Director to shape the vision for each campaign. From concept to execution, I oversee all the visual and storytelling elements based on the collection and the season—I curate the team, scout locations, select models, and collaborate with photographers, hairstylists, and makeup artists to bring the creative to life in a cohesive way that feels true to the brand.

Lulus: What was the inspiration behind this campaign? Why Paris?
MM: Paris has always been a source of inspiration for me.
I’m French and grew up in Paris, but I’ve been living in the U.S. for the past ten years. Every time I return, I see it through the eyes of our customers—dreamy, romantic, and full of magic. I’ve always wanted to shoot a campaign there, and when this Fall Bridal collection came around, it felt like the perfect moment. Our Creative Director loved the idea, and we knew Paris would be the most inspiring backdrop.

At Lulus, that’s something very important to us; we want our campaigns to inspire. My goal is always for our customers to want to save these photos on Pinterest or social media as references for their own dreams and aspirations. Even if not everyone gets married in Paris, we want our brides to dream along with us.

Lulus: You chose to shoot with a real couple—how did that influence the tone and feel?
MM: In the past, we’ve occasionally included male models in our bridal campaigns. But this time, I immediately thought of Marie (our model for this campaign) and her boyfriend, Lucas. She’s French, and I wanted to capture that true Parisian essence in both the images and the video.

And you know that wonderful feeling when everything falls into place effortlessly? That’s exactly what happened here: They were the perfect couple for this story, and they were going to be in Paris over the summer. Shooting with a real couple, everything feels natural and authentic. Their love and happiness were all we needed to bring this campaign to life.

Lulus: How would you describe the mood of this shoot, and how did you bring it to life?
MM: The mood of this campaign was romantic, dreamy, chic, yet simple. Paris is called the City of Love for a reason, and its charm made capturing that spirit feel easy. The streets, the architecture, and the atmosphere became the perfect backdrop for the vision.

Lulus: Tell us about the shoot locations–how did you choose them?
MM: I wanted to lean into those quintessential Parisian details everyone dreams about: the Eiffel Tower, the bridges, a café terrace, even a boulangerie. We looked for a neighborhood that offered all of these while still being quiet enough to shoot, so we could capture the city’s clichés in the most beautiful way.

Lulus: Were there any happy accidents during the shoot that made it into the final edit?
MM: Yes! It was Lucas’s first photoshoot, and while he was excited, he was also a little nervous. At one point, I heard Marie, his girlfriend, call him by his nickname, so I used it too as a way to encourage him, and they both laughed. That moment instantly helped relax him, and that’s when we captured this image (above): beautiful, natural, and completely organic.

Lulus: How do you want people to feel when they see this campaign?
MM: It’s less about one detail and more about the overall feeling. I want viewers to see the love and happiness shining through in this campaign because that’s exactly what came across on set.

Lulus: From a creative perspective, what’s your favorite image from the shoot?
I actually have two! The first is this blurred photo of Marie walking: I love that it has that editorial feel, and I’m always excited when our imagery reaches that elevated level. It allows our customers to sense the quality of our pieces, even without physically touching them. Showcasing that quality is a top priority for us at Lulus.

The second image captures a tender moment between the couple. It’s the perfect representation of this campaign, a Paris love story–romantic, timeless, and truly authentic.

Lulus: What advice would you give someone trying to capture this kind of intimate, editorial look in their own wedding photos?
My advice would be to take your time, don’t rush the process, and choose your team carefully. Work with a photographer whose portfolio has the editorial aesthetic you’re looking for, and book hair and makeup artists you truly connect with. You want a team that makes you feel like the best version of yourself—not like you’re in a costume.
Pro tip: Bring along your best friend or a family member to help you feel confident and comfortable. And above all, imagine your photos as if they were on the cover of your favorite magazine. Dream big!
