As far as cocktails go, these are completely fuss-free. Start by dipping your glass rims in agave, then in raw sugar or salt (dealer’s choice). Then, shake up your blood orange juice, lime juice, tequila, and triple sec with some ice. Pour into your glass, and prepare to enjoy some of the season’s finest flavor!

Feel free to use regular oranges if you’re not able to find blood oranges near you. You can also scale this recipe up as needed: Double it to make two drinks, or mix up a large pitcherful. To keep the pitcher cold without watering down your margaritas, try freezing some of the blood orange juice as ice cubes.

These margaritas make a delicious Valentine’s Day cocktail–and the color couldn’t be more perfect for the occasion, right? Whether you’re enjoying it as a solo treat, with that special someone, or with your Galentines, I know you’ll fall in love with this recipe. Scroll on for the ingredients and instructions!
