Easter dessert recipe of chocolate and white chocolate fudge with candies cut up into slices and bowls of sprinkles and chocolate egg candies

Easter is almost upon us, and it just wouldn’t be a proper celebration without plenty of springy sweet treats! This indulgent Easter dessert recipe is chock full of chocolate–and you can customize it to fit your preferences!

cut up slices of white chocolate fudge with bowls of candy easter eggs and sprinkles for Easter dessert recipe

If you want an all-chocolate fudge, just sub the white chocolate chips for the same amount of semi-sweet or milk chocolate. And, if you want all white chocolate, do the same in reverse! Use whatever Easter candies you like in this:  I like using Cadbury or Hershey’s chocolate eggs–they give a pretty pastel pop that feels perfectly on theme!

You can slice the fudge into eight larger slices (pictured), which I think is the perfect size for gifting. Wrap each slice up in a little plastic wrap and tie on a ribbon. Gift this fudge to friends and family, or pop this into an Easter basket for a sweet homemade gift! Leaving the fudge in these larger blocks gives that feeling of going to an old-timey fudge shop! And, people can then slice the larger block of fudge into whatever size pieces they want at home. You can also slice the entire pan into about 16 squares to plate up and have on your Easter table. However you choose to make this, I hope you enjoy it– and have a Happy Easter!

Easter Fudge Recipe

Prep time: 11 minutes

Yields: 16 servings

a hand taking a slice of double chocolate fudge with pastel easter candy eggs from a tray next to bowls of sprinkles and candy eggs

Ingredients:

  • 1 and ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 and ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup salted butter, divided in half
  • One 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 bag of your favorite chocolate Easter candy, sliced in half or crushed
  • Sprinkles, optional

Instructions:

Prep:

1.Spray an 8×8 pan with nonstick spray and line with foil. Spray the foil too.

2. Get your easter candy and sprinkles out.

Make the fudge:

3. Add the semi-sweet chocolate and half the can of sweetened condensed milk to a microwave-safe bowl, along with half of the butter (2 tbsp).

4. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until everything is fully melted and combined.

5. Pour this into your prepared pan and add ½ cup crushed easter candy. Press it into the fudge a bit.

6. Repeat with the white chocolate, but only do 20-second intervals (white chocolate can be more temperamental).

7. Pour this over the first fudge layer, and top with about ¼ to ½ cup more candy and sprinkles, if desired.

Chill:

8. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Serve and store:

9. Slice the fudge once it’s chilled.

10. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.

This makes a great gift or a homemade addition to any Easter basket! You can leave the slices thick like I did in the photos, and wrap them up and tie with a ribbon. That way, people can cut off their own smaller slices at home. Or, you can cut it into smaller squares.
