Glittery Neon French Nails

Supplies:

  • Sheer basecoat polish (I used Mademoiselle by Static Nails)
  • Variety of neon nail polish colors (I used neon shades from the Seas the Day collection by KB Shimmer)
  • Gold glitter polish–sparse gold glitter works great for this (I used Shattered Souls by Smith and Cult)
  • Top coat (I used Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri Top Coat for fast drying)
  • Striper brush

Instructions:

Step 1: To get this look, start with clean, prepped, and filed nails. You can use a sheer basecoat as your blank canvas–I painted one coat and let dry for five minutes.

Step 2: You can use a striper brush for nail art to paint the upper tip design. Paint each nail with a different color.

Step 3: After each nail tip is dry (about five minutes), use the striper brush to create a small dot at the base of each nail, as shown in the photo. You can paint each nail using a color different from the tip, to create a color block effect from each rainbow shade.

Step 4: Let your nails dry for another five minutes and swipe one light coat of your favorite gold glitter.

Step 5: Finally, seal your nail art with a top coat!
