Hello! Ashley from Sugar and Cloth here again with another quick home project to freshen up your space. I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for just about any pretty lipstick or eyeshadow container. Of course, I end up buying most things with pretty packaging but I’ll spare you the sob story. Instead, I’m supporting all of my fellow beauty lovers with a simple DIY vanity tray that’s perfectly fitting to display all of your pretties.
Materials:
- Flat bottom tray or board of any type (I used this one, but you could also use a kitchen cutting board, wooden tray, etc.)
- Super glue or E-6000 glue
- Decorative brass corners
This DIY is as simple as gluing the corners on! To do so, simply turn the tray or board wrong side up, and add a healthy amount of glue to the decorative corner and press firmly. Let the glue set completely before turning it over and displaying your items.

You should be able to find them at most major craft stores!
It does make a pretty storage place!
You can find the brass corners on Amazon or local craft and hardware stores. I really wanted gold but spray painted silver ones in lieu of ordering gold ones!

I love this and bought everything to make it however my gold spray paint doesn’t look gold on the corner feet. No you know what brand of spray paint was used? I’m trying to make them as a easter gift.
