    Stunning Dress Did Not Disappoint

    My husband and I were attending a black-tie wedding, and I wanted a long dress that would be form-fitting and classy but without being too sexy. It also had to be comfortable because we love to dance. This dress totally fit the bill. There are two layers to this dress.     My husband and I were attending a black-tie wedding, and I wanted a long dress that would be form-fitting and classy but without being too sexy. It also had to be comfortable because we love to dance. This dress totally fit the bill. There are two layers to this dress. The lining or "slip" is a soft 100% cotton, very breathable and comfy; while the shell or outer dress is a beautifully woven gold metallic and rust poly sheath. It reminded me of a traditional Indian saree. I got so many compliments, it was almost embarrassing. If they knew the modest price tag, it would have gotten even bigger raves. A couple of things to note: 1) I'm 5'5" & wore 1.5" heels. I hemmed the shell (gold/rust overlay) up about 2-3 inches, basically made it even with the lining. Since the lining & shell are two separate pieces, that could have been tricky. 2) Luckily, the halter top was perfect for my bust; however, if you are bigger up top, this might not be the dress for you (i.e., you could have side-boob exposure) - Brigid G.

    I want to love it but the fit is weird

    I'm either gonna need this altered or just resell it, cause exchanging sizes just isn't gonna work for this one (final sale item, so can't return it). I saw from the previous review that it runs small, so I ordered a medium. It is VERY loose in the top, and even when tied at the tightest, there is extra fabric in the lower back that causes some weird gapping.
