Runs Large
The dress was too large and hung off of me even though I ordered based on the size guide. I am 5'4" and 130 with a petite-hourglass build and ordered a size small, which was too roomy on me. I tried to order an XS but they are now sold out of this style and I, unfortunately, couldn't get the right size before my Christmas Party. Pretty dress, but you WILL need to alter to look like picture
As others mentioned, the dress juts out under the armpit area & will need to be altered (if you want to look like the picture). It's where the seams of the dress meet & it causes the top portion of the dress to look slightly frumpy. My husband (who doesn't usually pay attention to fashion or style) commented on this when he saw it on me. Fit fine, top cut was weird
I ultimately returned this dress because, although it fit perfectly, the cut on top looked weird. I ordered it thinking I would try it on to see, but I guess I prefer a bit less fabric outlining the breast area. It's good if you like a bit more coverage or are smaller up top, but I didn't like how it looked in the end. The dress quality was nice.Response from Lulus.com: Hello Karen, thanks for your review! Loved it!
I wore this dress to a cocktail event and loved it! It was a bit big in the chest, but fit perfectly everywhere else. Very flattering dress and received many compliments! I would definitely recommend this purchase!
