    Short waisted ladies beware

    Love this dress! It's reminiscent of the prairie dresses of the late 70s/early 80s & I wanted it to work soooo badly. Unfortunately, I have a stout build. I'm 5'5" & my measurements are 40-34-40. So, I have a wide ribcage with that short waist & I couldn't zip up the dress! If I bought a larger size it would've needed tailoring & I don't want to spend $70 AND pay for an alteration.     Weird fit

    It's a cute color, but I'm not that crazy about the fit and the fabric. The fabric is thin.
