See Through
This dress was just OK. I returned it because it was totally see through and a little too long! I would have had to buy a slip to go underneath so that you couldn't see my undergarments. I really liked the top of it but the bottom was a little long for my short legs (I am 5'0). It looked a little cheap for my bridal shower. - Product Rating: 2 of 5 stars
Not Right For Me
I was hoping this dress would be more on the white side than the off white, but it actually was closer to like, cream than even ivory. I ordered a medium because I'm short but got a little curve to me, but when it came it looked HUGE, and I looked HUGE in it. I felt like I was wearing an XL. It just was not flattering on me. Disappointed
The website claimed that the dress ran small but that is not the case at all. According to LuLus sizing chart, I am a size medium but I decided to purchase this dress in small because I wanted it to be snug on my body. However, when I tried it on it was very loose. It felt more like a large than a small. It was longer and fanned out more than I anticipated, which made the dress look very unattractive on my body. I ordered this dress hoping it... Not a fan
Was going to wear this dress for my bridal shower or rehearsal but didn't fit well. The material is a little too stiff and its way too clingy. My bra shape showed completely through it as well as my underwear. - Product Rating: 2 of 5 stars
Returned it
I got this dress and unfortunately ended up returning it. I got a skater style dress because that shape is usually the most flattering on my body type. Im not sure if it was the material of the dress but they way it laid on my body emphasized my stomach and was very unflattering. I ordered a medium per reviews because they all said that this dress runs large, and being between a M/L in size, I sized down. I don't think that ordering a size up... Mesh makes it too short...
I'm 5'7 and 135 pounds (with quite large hips at 41" which could have attributed to the problem) and this dress is too short for me because of the mesh. If the mesh stripes had been thinner and closer the the bottom, it wouldn't have been a problem. When I brought the dress flush with my butt, I could feel my cheek through the top mesh stripe.
