    Broken Zippers

    The dress came with zippers broken.

    Perfect for a fall wedding

    This dress was perfect for an October wedding in Michigan. It needed to have several inches hemmed off the bottom, but that's always the case with Lulus since I'm shorter. Got a Spanx with plunging neck and back and worked great. Size Small fit perfectly. The Navy color was gorgeous and the sheer sleeves and slit gave it extra details.

    Loved it, BUT

    I absolutely loved this dress. Super flattering, super comfortable - BUT the zipper was an issue from the start. Really hard to zip over the waistband (thickly layered fabric and a tiny unsubstantial zipper). After trying it on twice and then putting it on for the event, the zipper split. And I mean splittttt, from almost the top to alllll the way down. In full panic mode (this was 2 hours before a wedding in a pretty secluded area), I had to sew... Read More
    I absolutely loved this dress. Super flattering, super comfortable - BUT the zipper was an issue from the start. Really hard to zip over the waistband (thickly layered fabric and a tiny unsubstantial zipper). After trying it on twice and then putting it on for the event, the zipper split. And I mean splittttt, from almost the top to alllll the way down. In full panic mode (this was 2 hours before a wedding in a pretty secluded area), I had to sew myself into the dress. A good bit of tears & blood later, it held up through the night, but I'll have to fully replace the zipper. Got a ton of compliments. It was the perfect winter wedding dress, but I definitely don't want to repeat the zipper disaster of 2023 again - Lora S.
