Cute Dress
I usually wear an xs from Lulus, this dress fits but is a little on the smaller size. I feel that going up a size would be too big for me though so I'll keep the xs. Overall, cute dress. As mentioned before, the sleeves are on the puffier side. - Product Rating: 3 of 5 stars
So close!
I loved the textured fabric of the dress and the cut. Unfortunately there is additional fabric in the chest area that is oddly placed and very unflattering. Slightly too tight in ribs and chest, fine elsewhere (but pockets!!!!)
I'm usually between an S and M at Lulus; the S fit fine everywhere except the chest and ribs. I felt like one deep breath or large meal would bust seams, and the way the fabric of the bust is gathered, it looks like you have poochy little flaps under your actual breasts. Could have been perfect but misses the mark
This dress was so close to being it, but the sleeves are a bit too poofy and the pockets literally ruin it. WHY DO WE HAVE TO PUT POCKETS ON EVERY DRESS?? Sure, some girls like convenience I guess, but these pockets prevented the dress from laying flat, detracted from it overall, and made the fabric bulge out (even when smoothed down), making it look like I had enormous hips. Unflattering unless you are thin. Stiff, cheap material
BEWARE if you have large breasts you will look like a milkmaid or something in this. Not in a cute vintage way but in a cosplay-gone-wrong way. The material also feels very cheap and stiff. The bodice is extremely tight on my rib cage--it doesn't flow down from the bust and gradually flare like on the model, but abruptly flairs right at the hip, making it look like a costume.
