Terrible Straps

forest princess dress
This dress is too cute, it isn't too fancy a material and I will probably wear it to prom. my only complaints are that the bottom of the dress isn't sowed completely solidly and so it frays a bit, and the straps fall off if you don't keep your shoulders back. I don't think I can wear it to the actual dance unfortunately, the top would fall off. I got an xs (I'm 5'4" and 110 lbs) and even that was slightly big. it's long, but for me it's just the... had to tailor it, but great dress
Normally I am a size L, but I ordered the dress in a M after reading reviews. Even then, it ran a little large on me, but it was beautiful! Had to steam it quite a bit when I first received the dress as it was extremely wrinkled (I'm not one for that particular boho look). I had to get the dress hemmed, and the straps just would not stay on so we altered those as well. After a few alterations, the dress was perfect. I feel like a greek goddess in... It's a shame

disappointment
this dress was just awful. i am normally a solid medium in dresses- by bottom half is large but my waist is a medium and i am a 36B. Firstly I received the dress in shambles, there were strings coming off it in every direction, the hem was falling apart and I was afraid it was going to fall apart if I even put it on. but um...
not to be harsh but it was awful on me. it made me look pregnant and the edges around the elastic band around the back and the hem on the bottom were fraying. the straps that go around the shoulders were flimsy at best and the elastic around the waist kept falling from the weight of the dress. i was SO disappointed.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Rachel! Lovely dress
I ordered this dress to Europe on prupose to wear it to an upcoming wedding. I'm 1.64m (5'4), 52kg (114lbs) and wear 75B. It's the first maxi dress that I ordered and luckily it's just the right lenght to wear with heels! The fabric feels soft (cotton), for me it was just too wrinkled when I arrived it so I had to iron it. After that it looked really nice. GORGEOUS
This dress is absolutely gorgeous. If you're looking for a simple yet elegant, this is the perfect dress for you! I'm 5'1 and is under 110 lbs so it did run a big large, but you literally just need to get it altered and it will be the perfect fit! It's cheaper to alter too because of its simplicity in material.
