Go a size up

Gavin Dress Dupe with Caveats
I was so excited to see this dress because it has the same silhouette as the Reformation Gavin dress, and it really does in person, though the fabric is obviously different. It hangs beautifully regardless. But! I am short-torsoed and there's no way I can wear a bra with this dress. Shapewear is also out unless you use very short brief-height shapewear that doesn't come up past your hips, as the cutout in the back is quite large and for my short... Eh, so so
This was cute but the back didn't look as good on me as I thought it would. I kept a few other Luus dresses and returned this one. It's okay
I love the cut of this dress- it's unique and flattering. I expected the quality to be a little better because everything else I've ordered from Lulus is high quality. The skirt is not black, more of a very dark grey, which I'm fine with. The skirt part is a little see through but it's a looser fit so I don't think it's going to be an issue.
