Comfy / Cozy but worried about durability

Perfect staple
I love this sweater. There was only a size large left, normally I would have gotten a medium in a long sweater like this and especially after reading reviews. I was nervous it would be too large but it is a great fit even at a large. I typically wear a womens large or a 10/12.

Fell apart day one
Loved the sweater and all its comfiness until I looked in the mirror and saw the shoulder seam had already come apart leaving a 5 inch hole on the left side.
