    Not my color

    The dress draped so nicely but the color was not good with my pale skin

    gorgeous color & material

    Strap broke

    I never even got to wear this dress before the strap broke. I tried it on once and the right shoulder strap broke. I'm an A cup so it's not like it was stretched tight over my chest. I'm so disappointed in the quality of this item. I've been buying Lulu's dresses and clothes for years and never had an issue with the quality. Now I'm scrambling to find a dress 3 days before a wedding.

    Nice but overwhelmingly large

    It's a nice quality dress however, based on Lulus "sizing" and previous orders, I went up in size to an XL as I know velvet can be hit or miss on stretch and other reviews said it wasn't too forgiving. Man, I'm kicking myself for wasted money. It's final sale and I can't exchange it for a medium (yes, it runs THAT BIG) because they're out of my correct size and my time window to exchange has now closed.     PERFECT VELVETVIBE

    Real Review Size S Great Dress Overall

    I wore 3-inch heels and the dress draped a bit on the floor, but it was doable without really getting in the way at all like the first, separate Lulu dress in size S that I had ordered. I'm 5'2 so it's understandable. Super pretty color, got a few compliments. Only caveat is that it shows my belly button in certain lighting which I don't really like and it didn't give me too much good shape as a small-curved door-shaped person.

    Perfect fitting dress!

    I ordered a bunch of dresses from Lulus to try. My boyfriend picked out this one & it was my least favorite out of the 5 ordered. This one fit perfectly! Very flattering! I am very pale, but the navy complements my cool pale skin tone. I wore heels that were 2inches & it was the perfect length.     Beautiful dress

    I am an athletic build and right between sizes according to the size chart so I ordered a medium; however, I could have ordered the small. I am having the medium altered to fit like a glove since it was loose in the bodice. The straps were also a concern - they're very thin and barely hanging onto the dress - having them reinforced and removing the adjustable piece. Altogether, the dress is lovely and I would recommend it.
