Perfect
It hugs the body but doesn't show everything - thick material and has a lining. I would say it's a little tough to get out wrinkles in the fabric with a steamer but overall got lots of compliments on the dress! It appears almost black in some lighting which I love. The slit is the perfect length and makes a simple dress really stand out. Good for colder weather fall/winter weddings/events! - Product Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loose
Because the back is low it doesn't have the capability to snap the waistline, or at least I think that's why. It's a cute dress, but if you want to emphasize your waist, I think go for a different Lulus dress. - Product Rating: 5 of 5 stars
Classy, sexy velvet dress!

Perfect formal dress
The velvet is super soft and flattering. It's a bit low cut but not terrible. It's nice that the straps are adjustable but a little weird that tightening it puts the adjusters at the front of the dress. Since it's black it isn't super noticeable so I think it'll be ok. Cute
I bought 4 dresses to try for a winter wedding, and this one was the most flattering on. Just didn't look quite formal enough for what I was shooting for.
