    Very stylish, but not what I was expecting

    I ordered this dress originally because I thought the material was like a thick, shiny, body-con material but perhaps I should have read the description and reviews closer.     I ordered this dress originally because I thought the material was like a thick, shiny, body-con material but perhaps I should have read the description and reviews closer. The material is definitely just a traditional stretchy, thicker cotton-like material, similar to many of Lulu's form fitted dresses. However, it is not as thick as some of the Lulu's body-con dresses I already own. I got my usual size of XS and unfortunately it is a little big. I wanted it to be tighter in the hips and waist to accentuate my shape more. There is no zipper though, so being tighter would likely cause a problem with pulling the dress on over my hips/butt, which already is a bit of a struggle. The style itself is beautiful, and in the end I decided to keep it as I love the color and think the dress is quite flattering overall, just disappointed in the material and sizing. - Stephanie S.

    Such an amazing dress!

    Fit perfectly, I didn't have to wear a bra, just some spanks for a seamless fit. I got so many compliments on it!

    Get the dress

    Dress too big, needs a zipper

    It is a nice dress but the hips were waaay too big. I needed to get it altered and taken in on the hips and thighs. It also would have been helpful to have the dress made with a zipper. That would have made the dress be more fitted.

    Hubby Liked it!

    The dress fit well and was comfortable to wear to dinner and the theater. Easy to iron. I ordered the dark blue and wore silver heels, great look

    Curves for days!

    This is not my typical style as I am pear shaped with a "mom pooch" so I tend to steer clear of form-fitting items. HOWEVER, this dress magically gave me an hourglass silhouette. I did have to wear a strapless bra because I didn't find it as supportive as other reviewers. If you are on the fence, you will not be disappointed with this dress. It looks and feels much more expensive than it is. It's classy, elegant, and effortless.

    Runs v small, cheap fabric, not same in person!

    I never write reviews and I've never ordered from Lulus before but I'm seriously disappointed. This dress is extremely tight, almost impossible to get on, and the material looks/feels like cheap cotton. It looks like it's much higher quality with almost a sheen on the website so I was really disappointed when it came in and it's just dull thick material. I didn't realize the return window was so short and really upset that I can't return it.

    Beautiful Dress!

    Truthfully I had purchased this dress as a backup, in case the one I really liked didn't fit right. I must say I'm in love! It fits perfectly everywhere, I was worried about it showing my imperfections, but it truly is quite flattering. This is no longer a backup dress. Since it's more of a winter holiday colour (in my opinion), I'm saving it for a company Christmas party. I can't wait to wear it!!
