Disappointed
Do not buy unless you are sure you will keep it. I was hassled about my refund due to the dress being returned "smelling like perfume." I tried the dress on for 1 minute, returned it in the same bag I received it and NEVER wear perfume. This was my first experience buying anything from this company and I won't make the mistake of purchasing again in the future.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Jaclyn! I REALLY wanted to love it...but I returned it
Let me start by saying that the color and print are beautiful! The gold threads especially make it stand out. My issue was the quality and length. The pleated bodice appeared to be sewn incorrectly because there was extra material gathered on the side and the fabric gapped. Also, the fabric near the straps didn't lay flat, so it turned outward, revealing the purple lining. A word of caution for the petite gals, the back was too long to wear with... Wanted to love it
Dress is gorgeous. Material is nice but it's not made for a short torso at all! I'm 5'2 currently 138lbs( 4 months postpartum with twins). I have a very short torso and also very narrow shoulders. I did end up wearing the dress but felt uncomfortable the whole time. Just fit wrong and made me look bigger than I am. Hopefully, I have better luck next time.
