Loved the fit, but is see through
I love everything about this dress, except that it was see-through. Tried to put a slip underneath, but you could see that as well. The dark colors of this dress are great though! - Product Rating: 2 of 5 stars
Pretty but
Very pretty dress. Love the pleats, the length, fit and the shine from the design but the biggest flaw is the length of the zipper. Very unflattering. It goes down past your butt and the pleats do nothing to cover it up. The sipper ends up sticking out. Sad to have to return it because it will cost at least half of the cost of the dress to have it altered.Response from Lulus.com: Hello MJ! Would buy again!
The site recommended I order a small - couldn't even come close to zipping it up. Luckily, Lulu's exchange process was really easy, and they had a dress one size up in the mail the next day. Very happy with the customer service. The dress itself is great. The bust may be a bit large if you're less-endowed (like me) but it wasn't a big issue. Love it!
I am pear shaped (B cup, small waist, curvier hip, fluctuate between 130-135 lbs) and wear a Small or Medium (4-6) in dress depending on fit or size. Typically, with a dress this style (fitted at top and waist and more flowy at the bottom), I would buy a small. Based on reviews, I bought the medium, and I am glad I did. It fits perfectly, and I love it.
