True to size fit
I am normally a large, ordered a large and it fit perfect! Light fabric too, I didn't get too hot wearing it outside.

My new favorite dress (not lying)
Ok so it runs pretty large in the top section, but seeing as you can cinch/tie the waist, I would prioritize being mindful of the armpit gap/ hang. I'm 5'7 and lost some weight, so I was skeptical if this was going to fit me- but I got an xxs and it worked perfectly. It's now my favorite dress- wore it to my graduation and to see Mr. Stapleton

A bit loose on top

So cute! Runs HUGE!
I'm 5'10, 170lb, with an athletic figure: 34" bust, 28" waist, and a 43" hip. I ordered a small and a medium, and the medium was unbearably large (though likely would have been fine with a larger bust or a few more inches off waist circumference). The fabric has great drape, and the fit is breezy and flowy. I wore it to my bridal shower.
