Green Goddess

Still the One Emerald Green Floral Print Satin Maxi Dress

Fits almost perfectly
It is a good quality dress. The top part fits perfectly, but being relatively short, did need to cut a lot because it is very long. There is a problem with the slit. Something is wrong with the dress lining which makes the opening of the slit bulge. I took it to the tailor because the wedding I am attending is in a couple of weeks and he said he needed to undo the whole lining and detach it from the dress to put it back together so that it falls... Perfect but wrinkles
I looove this dress. I bought it for a destination wedding and it fits like a glove. It is a little long for me at 5'5 but I like wearing heels so it will be fine. Also, I did size down based on other reviews and I'm glad I did. I have a small rib cage though so I would say base the size you get off your rib cage size since that's where it's tight. Pretty but not perfect

Odd smell, not able to return
The dress arrived with a very, very strong perfume smell to it. So strong that I couldn't try it on for several weeks until the smell dissipated. When I was finally able to try it on the bust area was way too large (it was actually long enough for me and I am 5'10" so that was a pleasant surprise). DO NOT IRON
Extremely upset with this purchase. I bought this dress for a wedding and was very excited to wear it. It arrived extremely wrinkly, but no worries as the dress says it can be ironed on a low heat. HOWEVER, on the lowest setting of the iron it MELTED a hole in my dress!! So I could not wear it to the wedding. $140 absolutely wasted. Very disappointed in this. So lesson learned; do not iron.
