cute-ish but didn't work for me

Beautiful Dress, Great Quality, Runs Large in Chest
I bought this dress for a military ball. It's absolutely gorgeous and great quality for the price point. The dress looks exactly like pictured. I am about 5 months pregnant so I sized up to accommodate for the growing belly. The bust size does run big in my opinion - even with a larger chest than I normally have, I'm still having to get the dress tailored and taken in some in order to fit. - Product Rating: 4 of 5 stars

Love this dress - the back is gorgeous! The material is great quality and it fit well. The guide suggested an XL based on measurements but I prefer a tighter fit so got the L. I could have sized down to a M as there was a bit of room in the lower back and chest. I was surprised by how heavy/thick the dress was, which would have been great normally, but I was intending to wear it to a wedding in phoenix in June, so it would be entirely too hot for... Beautiful fabric, didn't fit well

Will need some tailoring but worth it..

Listen to the size chart
To start, the size chart suggested that I buy a M. Based on the reviews mentioning that the chest section was big with too much fabric, and the dress was not a fitted dress around the hips, I bought a S. The dress was a bit snug. The M probably would have been a bit loose, but I could have tailored it to fit more comfortably. The feel of the dress was amazing! Very soft and silky. It flowed beautifully. Had a tear I didn't notice, the alterations place I took it to noticed
It's a lot of dress. Dress is VERY long. I was crunched for time so I had to keep it and get it altered. After dropping off, the alteration place called me and said there was a tear in the dress. I obviously didn't inspect every inch of the dress but glad the alteration place did. Disappointed this was missed by Lulu's. Overall, ok dress.Response from Lulus.com: Hello Maura.
