The color is as pictured. However, I didn't like the itchy material. I wore shapewear under it because I'm currently pregnant, so I was able to ignore it and I threw on a crop top shirt under the romper so no skin contact with romper material. If I didn't have these factors play into the apparel piece, I would have returned it but I was able to make it work for the event. I do wonder if washing it would help soften or even decrease the... Great Cover-Up

Shrunk and ripped on first wash
Fit great at first but shrinks in the wash and ripped after one use. Would not recommend it.

Bad quality
Loved the look of this romper, but sadly the quality is so bad. After one wear (to a simple relaxing brunch), the side unstitched/ripped and now there is about a 3-inch long opening on the side.
