Cute but doesn't stay

Does NOT stay
Such a cute pin, but I wish I had read the reviews. Probably wouldn't have gotten it. Not sure what kind of wizardry they were using in the model pic. You need to use bobby pins if you want the style to stay. - Product Rating: 1 of 5 stars
Hard Time Staying Put
I think this hair pin would function better if the oval part was attached to the pin itself so that it has more of a grip. I have thick hair and it even pulling back a large chunk wouldn't keep the pin from sliding down. I used a ton of hairspray and that didn't help either. Very disappointed in this piece - would not recommend for thick hair and would absolutely not purchase for thin hair either.Response from Lulus.com: Hello Bailey, thanks for your review! does not stay

Bigger than pic
I wanted to like this & was so excited to get it, but it was WAY bigger than pictured & unless you have a ton of hair or thick hair, it doesn't stay put and slides down or off your head.Response from Lulus.com: Hello Madison! Great Statement piece
I received so many compliments on this hairpin when I wore it out with friends. It's subtle but really is a cute piece to add in order to elevate your outfit!
