Beautiful dress, but runs small!

Way small
I typically wear a large in dresses when true to size (size 10-12). I could hardly get this over my butt and in no world was this going to zip. Way too small and extremely short

Defunt Zipper
I wanted to love this so bad because it's so cute and exactly what I had been looking for =- however, as soon as I undo the zipper to try it on it snapped! Didn't meet my expectations
I've been wary about getting a denim dress because I've read a lot of reviews where there are sizing issues. Unfortunately, this dress is no exception, and I am returning this. I already sized up when I purchased this, and it still didn't fit. The straps were too loose but the body was way too tight.
