Pleasantly surprised
I took a gamble on this dress, and ended up loving it. I was worried that the way the top lays would look frumpy or awkward, but it ended up looking great. Beautiful dress, dirty and uneven hem
This is a nicely made dress overall, but the bottom hemline was awful. It was 2" shorter in the center back than in the front, and the front left hem was 1" shorter than the back left hem. We needed to shorten it up anyway, so I straightened out the inequities and redid the hem, and it looks great. There were also marks on the dress when it arrived that looked like deodorant marks. I got the complete wrong order
After having waited +24 days for my delivery to arrive, I received a completely different and wrong dress. I ordered this long olive green satin dress and received a pink, short cotton dress that is way different than this one. I am assuming that Lulus sent me the wrong dress, which is really unfortunate having two weeks until the wedding and now nothing to wear...

Love this dress!
This dress was perfect for a formal wedding I attended. I'm 56 and a mom of 6 with a bit of a mom tummy. This dress skimmed but didn't cling and "accentuated the positive" as my husband says! Only thing I had to do was hem the dress about 4 inches, so I could show off my sparkly shoes. I got so many compliments, but the ultimate compliment came from my 13 year old son who smiled and said, "WOW"! I felt beautiful! Highly recommend this dress.
