Inconsistent fit

I'm surprised I had to order a small, too long for a short girl
I'm usually a small or medium but with a tight dress would err on medium since I have a big butt. For this though it just was a little too big and a little too long for my 5'4 frame, making me look a little frumpy. Ordered a small one to see if it will fit better! Love the style, and it fit my 5'8 roommate perfectly!
