I was so excited when I ordered this for my upcoming bachelorette party and I sized up on this based on the previous reviews that said it ran small but unfortunately it didn't work out. The hip/skirt part was very fitted as previous reviewers mentioned so I could tell I'd be uncomfortable if I sized down to a medium which is what I normally wear, I'm 5'2 and about 135 pounds.
