    Fits Like a Glove

    This dress is beautiful and classic. I purchased it for a winter wedding in advance and the fit is great. The dress is comfortable too which is a huge bonus. True to size and nice material that isn't overly thick or thin. The slit does go up high as shown on the model. I am 5'2" so typically the slights aren't as high on me, but it definitely is.     Perfect fit

    Perfect dress for a black tie wedding!

    I don't usually write reviews but I felt like I owed it because the reviews are what made me pick this dress! I was stuck between two and I'm so glad I made the decision to get this one. It was made very well (minus the zipper - it didn't break but it took some force to move it), thick material but not too thick and also stretchy! I've purchased a few other dresses from Lulus and they had zero stretch, so that was a nice quality about this dress.... Read More

I've purchased a few other dresses from Lulus and they had zero stretch, so that was a nice quality about this dress. The slit on the side is a tad higher than I usually go but it worked out perfectly so the dress wasn't too long. I've never been able to wear a long dress without hemming it but this one I could! It was very flattering, elegant, and a bit sexy too. It does cling to your body and doesn't hide much, but the cut is flattering and I could easily wear a strapless bra and shapewear with it. If you need a long black dress, get this one! :-) Thank you for all the other great reviews because you really helped me out! - Andrea M.

    Super flattering!

    Loved this dress! I wore it to a black tie optional wedding 3 months postpartum and ordered my pre-pregnancy size and it fit perfectly. The material has enough stretch to have a little give but it's tight enough to keep everything in. I wore it with 3.5" heels and the length was perfect too.

    Cute but not for me

    This dress was cute, but I didn't love the material. It was quite stiff. I purchased multiple dresses for an event. This one just wasn't the keeper but would have worked if it had been my only option.

    Black Tie Optional Catholic Wedding

    I had to hem it due to my lack of height, I received so many compliments. It was an outdoor, hot reception, but I was pretty comfortable. The fabric was thick enough that I almost didn't wear shape wear. I felt really good in the dress!

    simple and elegant

    Ordering a dress like this put me way outside my comfort zone because I'm more of a casual dresser, but the dress itself was very comfortable. I ordered several so I could have options and this was one of two I decided to keep because my husband loved the way it looked on me.

    Perfect black gown for a formal wedding

    This dress is a big hitter. Simple, elegant, and flattering, I got so many compliments on it. I wore it to two weddings and it held up great. Very comfortable and easy to dance in. You can wear a strapless bra with it, which is clutch. The slit is kind of high so I had to hike my Spanx up on that leg but that's not necessarily a con, just an FYI. I felt very confident in this and isn't that all you can hope for? Definitely a win for me.
