I was nervous to order an open back dress online simply because you never know how particular stores run their sizes. Very skeptical at 1st....
This dress fits great, material is perfect for our beach wedding, fits perfectly right in the waist, I'm 5ft7 148 lbs. I got a large, could have went with a Medium but I have big boobs, needed the room. The material is easy to alter. I have a half inch added to the back where the straps connect to the dress on the bottom bc the straps are stretchy and it pulled the back up a little. Dress is to die for, wore it for my backyard engagement party. Freaked out because they tell you it runs big in the waist and they only had a Small, Extra Small was out of stock. All was okay and the small fit perfect. The dress has give in the waist area so it I ordered the Extra Small that would have been fine too! This is THE DRESS! I ordered this dress thinking "Oh, my chest will never fit correctly in this dress but wow it's exactly what I wish I could wear.." Man was I wrong! The only alterations I'll have to make are to possibly take the waist in a bit and shorten the lace straps. I am 5'4 and weigh 114lbs. I ordered a small (there were no XS sizes in stock). Review for Petite Girl Fittings
I'm 5'4" and about 115 lbs. The measurements on the websites I would say I are very accurate. I wear a 34B and even though I feel pretty secure without wearing a bra, I know I'll wear one to my event just in case because there will be a lot of dancing.
