beautiful dress

Straps a a little weak for a heavy dress
I'm 5'8 145lbs a full D on top. I ordered a small. I have large hips so I thought this would be a good choice. It's very long so that's great for all is tall folks. I still need to have the straps taken up a bit. The dress itself is pretty heavy and the straps are pretty flimsy. I'll have to see if I can get those reinforced somehow. Was Too big...
I am currently a ladies 12 in Canada. The XL size chart said it equalled a size 8 and runs large in the waist. The dress arrived today and is way too big in the waist. The dress is beautiful but will need major alterations for the big day. Waist will need lowered in back to match the picture, hips need taken in. While length and bust were perfect. very very huge in length
if you are petite, don't bother with this dress unless you are planning on spending the extra money to some down 6inchs or so. I love the color and the crochet. Still debating on keeping or returning.
