Timeless
Great gown! Fit well and was comfy for extended wear. It's super long but with 4-inch heels, it was manageable and only swept the floor a little. It wouldn't hurt to hem it if you're short like me and have the time to do so. Also, loose hair WILL stick but that's what a lint roller is for. Runs small but it is beautiful
It was great quality dress! It's heavy so you know it's well made! The slit is high! The arms run tight but it's overall beautifully made! I had to use shapewear, It is skin-tight! Perfect for cold weather wedding
I'm usually not a "velvet" gal but needed a dress for a formal and cold weather xmas wedding and this one was the winner. I had to tailor the length and closed the slit to my knee so that way I didn't have to wear tights or any other layers underneath and it worked perfectly. Everyone complimented it and it looked super elegant. I know some reviewers were complaining about the arms being too small/tight but mine were fine thankfully.

You NEED this Dress!
It's absolutely stunning! I received so many compliments. The fabric has a little bit of stretch so get your true size. I'm between a Medium and a Large and got a large because I'm a 34DD. You can go braless, but I used boob tape and it doesn't show.

Great black tie dress
Wore this to a NYE black tie wedding and loved it! It was so comfortable and flattering. Definitely for smaller chested girls. I normally and between a large and a medium in dresses and went with the large! I'm 5'10 and wore a kitten heel and the dress still touched the floor! - Product Rating: 2 of 5 stars
Too long and too large
I ordered an XS after reading reviews and seeing a few close to my height say that the fit was good, I decided to go for it. With or without heels- this dress was WAY too long and too big. The material is nice (heavy) but it's quality. It feels like a well-constructed dress, it was just not true to size.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Alex, thanks for your review! Heyday Hollywood dress
Is fitted tight in sleeves. I sized to a Med. Shoulders do fall and are made for taller model types. In order to get sleeves to fit your arms you would need to use black velvet ribbon to tie behind the neck to keep the dress from falling off shoulders and to not expose so much cleavage.

Perfect for small chest ladies!!
This dress fits like a glove. I'm a true size small and the small fit is amazing. If you have a small chest, this dress will suit/flatter you and hug you in all the right ways. No need to wear a bra either!
