Definitely size up if you are curvy
I sized up and so glad I did. These pants are beautiful and vibrant. I love them, but are a little snug on my butt and thighs even though I sized up. Not enough to look bad, but if you want a looser look, you may want to size up a size or two depending on how curvy you are. - Product Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Size down for snug waist
The fabric is gorgeous but has no give. Since the pants have a zipper they sat too low since they were too large in the waist. These are definitely meant to be worn high because there was so much extra fabric in the crotch and seat when worn I had to return them. If I knew a good seamstress I would have loved to keep them, but they are too lightweight for winter anyways.. had to return them. - Product Rating: 2 of 5 stars
Nice material, too long of a design
I thought with my waist size and curvier thighs and butt I should go with a size M because it was clear the material wouldn't be stretchy. But it was very loose in the waist and butt. I knew with my height I'd have to get it hemmed, too, which could have been fine. But getting the waist altered and the length altered wouldn't have been worth it because the crotch was too long. Disappointing
Was so excited about these but the fit was terrible and they sagged at the bottom, they just weren't a good fit so I returned. The satin look, color and pattern was really beautiful though. Satin pants
I bought the tank top and pants in both M and L, since I am between these sizes. Size L was big/ long on me, but fit well in the hip area. Size M was too tight in the bust and waist. Wanted to love this but it's odd fitting
I am a fairly thin person, not as thin as this model! Yet, these looked horrible on me. The crotch was SO low and the waist SO high. The fabric was lovely but the fit was not good. Overall too much material even for a palazzo style pant. I didn't bother to exchange for a smaller size because the waist fit fine but the hips were huge as were the legs.
