This color!
This color is everything. The length is perfect as it's not too short and doesn't ride up. You do have to wear a strapless bra with it but it's the perfect summer dress for concerts, drinks and can be dressed up or down. - Product Rating: 4 of 5 stars
Good but not for a wedding guest
I got this for a very informal wedding at a dirtbike track where I knew I'd be wearing it with Vans. When I did that I felt like a teenager dressing up for homecoming who doesn't want to wear heels (I am 29....). For another wedding, I tried it on with a platform black heel and with a strappy black heel like the one in the product listing photo. The dress didn't really work with either heel in my opinion. Perfect for the plane!
I always fit size small for bodycon dresses at Lulus, but in this dress, I had to order a Medium and it fits perfectly. It's still hard to get on and off a little due to minimal stretch. I prefer to wear dresses like this without a bra, and you can because the lining is really thick and ribbed so nothing shows through. Dye transfer
The fit is snug in the right places and the ruching is forgiving. However, I just tried it on for the second time before my trip and the black dye transferred onto my fingertips and acrylic nails. Dress YES, Color NO
Love this dress& see my review for the white one and get the white color instead. I wanted to love this color, but it wasn't flattering at all. The color was the only reason I gave it one less star. Color comes off on skin!
The dress fit perfectly, even though it looked small when I first took it out of the bag. The main problem is that the fabric color (black) comes off on your skin, so my hands, torso and back were stained black!! But it did come off in the shower-hopefully now that I've washed the dress the color won't come off as much.Response from Lulus.com: Hey Karla! Thank you for your review. Breathable!
Had originally ordered a size M, my usual fit BUT when I went to put it on, it was a bit too fitted. I struggled a lil to get it over my head and taking it off too. Size L fits better. Not too tight, nor too loose.
