Fu and gorgeous dress if you are just a smidge taller
I absolutely LOVED this dress. Even as a short plus sized girl with a massive chest, it was so so pretty, which I was not expecting at all. I am fair with dark hair, and my daughter said I looked like Belle! The issue came in the bodice. Since the top is one wide ruched panel with no definition underneath (ie no waistband or visual separation) and I am only 5'3", there was no part where it nipped in under the bust to give a defined waist. ... Enormous!
I followed the Lulus size recommendations exactly and ordered a 1x; it was enormous! It just fell right down, and I had a full hand span of extra space. I sent it back and am going to Nordstrom to try on dresses. I ended up buying a similar style and color from Dress the Population. I wore an XL, but it was a bit tight and a 1x would have been better if it had been in stock. Which is to say that I really am a 1x, which is the size I ordered...
