    Read Model Sizing

    I have ordered from Lulus before and I used their size chart to determine what to get. It said a size small which ended up way too big. Then I looked up the size the model was wearing which was the exact measurements my daughter is. So an extra small would have worked. Unfortunately, it was unavailable. But I found something similar.     Pretty dress but the straps are not ideal

    I bought this dress for a 50s party and it worked out very well. The dress was pretty and comfortable, but the straps are made of some sort of elastic material so they are not solid to begin with. As I was putting on my shoes and barely moving my arm, something in the strap broke and the rest of the night the strap would not stay up on my shoulder and what little support it provided was gone.

    Got compliments but I hate this dress

    1. I got an xs and it was still so so large. 2. Because it was so large I took it to a tailor & ended up paying more for alterations than the dress even cost 3. I wore the dress backwards AND had the tailor take out the V slit due to the awkward boning that goes right over the breasts and doesn't allow for any natural shape & the V has metal boning which just shaped everything more strangely.     1. I got an xs and it was still so so large. 2. Because it was so large I took it to a tailor & ended up paying more for alterations than the dress even cost 3. I wore the dress backwards AND had the tailor take out the V slit due to the awkward boning that goes right over the breasts and doesn't allow for any natural shape & the V has metal boning which just shaped everything more strangely. When I decided I would wear it backwards I decided I would keep the dress and just have it taken in & then the seamstress said they would take the V out so it wasn't as awkward. 4. the toole under is AWFUL. It is garbage quality and ruins the softness of the top fabric. Its so uncomfortable and at one point I thought about just cutting it out. It is rough and so itchy. 5. The straps are comfortable but very stretchy so they do not hold the dress up at all & you will have no breast support. I ended up sewing in cups myself. All in all I made the dress nice but its not worth almost $200 to make it that way LOL - Claire E.

    Love this dress!

    I love this dress SO much!! However, the dress I got was clearly returned from someone else. It has two holes in it, the material is frayed near the zipper and smells like smoke. I'm so disappointed because I love the dress so much. Fits perfectly and looks so cute.

    Very Large, Came damaged

    According to the size chart, and in my experience I am an XL in Lulu dresses. I have purchased many. They were sold out in XL so I purchased the Large and it was too big. I definitely should have ordered the medium but now it is sold out. The right strap also came broken (photo attached) so the elastic was not tight enough to keep the strap on.
