    Great dress, not for me

    This dress is very pretty in person, but I was not a huge fan of the material. It's a bit heavy. It was also longer on me than the model in the picture. I returned it due to the fact that I would need to have the straps altered since they were too big. I would recommend this dress for a taller person but not really made for the petite population.

    Best Barmitzvah Ever!

    It was just a couple days before my very first Barmitzvah and I was totally stressing out about what I was going to wear.     It was just a couple days before my very first Barmitzvah and I was totally stressing out about what I was going to wear. I spent hours looking through different websites and browsing to find the perfect dress. I have always been very picky when choosing clothes, especially for nice events. I could not find anything I liked until I stumbled upon Lulus. The Home Before Daylight dress was almost too perfect in the picture! I absolutely adored that dress and wanted very badly to buy it, but on the other hand, I still had my doubts. I wondered if the dress wouldn't end up fitting or if it would look weird on me. I took my chances and bought the dress. I was very nervous about this dress due to the Barmitzvah being just a few days away. This was all until the dress was delivered to my house. As I picked up the dress out of the box I felt how soft and high quality this fabric was. I immediately tried it on. It fit perfectly. The top half of the dress was not to tight but also gave a nice hugging sensation around my torso. On the bottom half of my dress, it was perfectly sewn. The waves on that dress are perfect for twirling in. It was so comfortable and pretty and I was so excited to show it off at this Barmitzvah! It looked phenomenal in all the photos.     Issues with the zipper

    This dress would be cute in theory. It fit well around my waist, and the neckline was nice. However, the zipper in the back extends way down to the skirt, causing the skirt to drape strangely. It almost seemed like the skirt had too much fabric. It wasn't flattering. I had to return.

    Too long

    It hit me right at the top of my knees. The material is the same as the jumpsuit I ordered, on the thicker side. Fun to spin in, and I really liked the neck line. But it looked like a funeral dress on me.
