True to size unless you're 36DDD
I'm giving 3 stars bc we had to get it altered despite trying it on from M to XL. I bought this dress for my 13yr old daughter in M, L, and XL because we have a hard time finding clothes in general that fit her age and 36DDD cup size. The M was the dress that fit best overall except on the bust area. There was almost no difference between the M and L. The XL was huge and too long, but fit the best on the bust. The color is beautiful
I wanted to love this dress so bad! I am really small and any extra fabric can look kinda, well, lumpy on me. The seam at the waistline does not lay entirely flat. It bunches up and just creates an awkward fit. It kinda gave me a pooch under the waistline seam. The fabric is quality. The zipper in the back is so adorable.
